“New Year’s $1,000,000 Super Draw” Sold Out!
The final ticket was sold today for the CT Lottery's “New Year’s $1,000,000 Super Draw." Sales for the game began on Oct. 1 and all 275,000 Super Draw tickets sold out three days prior to the drawing.
The drawing is scheduled to be held on January 1, 2012. FOX-CT will broadcast results for the $1,000,000 top prize and ten $20,000 prizes during its 10:00 p.m. “News at Ten” show. The remaining 1,300 winning ticket numbers will be selected, but will not be televised live due to time constraints.
A complete list of all 1,311 winning ticket numbers will be available at approximately 10:30 p.m., January 1 at ctlottery.org.
For each $10 ticket, the game offers a 1 in 275,000 chance of winning $1,000,000 – the best odds ever offered by the CT Lottery for winning a million dollars. Overall odds are 1 in 210. The drawing will award one top prize of $1,000,000 cash; ten $20,000 cash prizes; 50 prizes of $1,000 cash; and 1,250 prizes of $100 cash. A total of 1,311 prizes worth $1,375,000 will be awarded.
The game is expected to return proceeds of approximately $1 million to the state’s General Fund.
