“4th of July $1,000,000 Super Draw” Winners Step Forward to Claim Their PrizesWhile Lottery officials eagerly await the arrival of the single “4th of July $1,000,000 Super Draw” ticketholder with the winning number 110989 to step forward and claim their $1,000,000 top prize, many winners, including several $20,000 winners for the game’s second-tier prize level, have already claimed their prizes. Kathy Wells of Terryville was especially happy to be one of them.
“You really only need one ticket to win, but I bought two,” said Wells triumphantly after receiving a prize check for $13,663 (value after taxes). “The extra money will be a big help. I’m going to fix my car, pay off a student loan and a few other small bills.”
The ten $20,000 second-prize ticket numbers for the 4th of July Super Draw game were: 148999, 186447, 253340, 325071, 138522, 276933, 133801, 180568, 273837 and 272448.
In addition to Wells, four other winners have claimed a $20,000 prize, including David Alling, Bristol; Giuseppe Ambrosio, Jr., Norwalk; William Kirby, Bridgeport and Joseph Surwilo, Jr., Rocky Hill.
Wells purchased her prize winning Super Draw ticket at Bristol OTB, located at 16 Barlow Street in Bristol.
