 Lottery Headquarters Closed on Sept. 3 August 27, 2012 -- Lottery Headquarters will be closed on Monday, September 3, 2012 in observance of Labor Day. While the headquarters will not be open for business, the web site and automated phone system will be available to obtain information. Regularly scheduled lottery drawings will occur. Winning Lottery tickets for prizes up to $599 can be validated and cashed at any Lottery retailer open that day. High-Tier Claim Centers are able to cash CT Lottery prizes up to $5,000. Holiday hours and locations for the High-Tier Claim Centers are listed below.
