Super Draw $1,000,000 Top Prize Winning Ticket Sold in Hartford County
July 09, 2012 -- Amidst the backyard barbecues and fireworks, CT Lottery’s “4th of July $1,000,000 Super Draw” game had its own celebration by creating a new lottery millionaire and ten $20,000 prize winners throughout the state.

The single 4th of July $1,000,000 Super Draw top prize ticket number selected was - 109155. The top prize winning ticket was purchased in Hartford County and has yet to be claimed. The Lottery does not know the identity of the winner and is encouraging its players to check their tickets!

The ten $20,000 second-prize ticket numbers were: 276395, 104606, 326177, 262835, 238299, 121060, 356278, 319164, 350065, and 173100.

William Tolento, III of Branford was one of those lucky $20,000 Super Draw winners who checked his ticket on the Lottery’s website several times before he could believe he was really a $20,000 prize winner.  Tolento, who purchased his ticket at Middletown Food Land in Middletown, plans to use his prize to pay off bills and buy a new television.

Pamela Merchant of Meriden was also a lucky $20,000 prize winner.  She purchased her winning ticket at Middletown Citgo in Middletown.  Merchant plans to pay bills with her $20,000 prize and put the rest in the bank!

After comparing his ticket to a winning numbers report obtained from a lottery retailer, Barry Flanagan of Tolland unexpectedly discovered he was a $20,000 Super Draw prize winner.  Flanagan purchased his ticket at Tolland Xtra Mart in Tolland.  Thanks to his big prize win, Flanagan will be keeping it cool by installing central air conditioning for his home.

Heather Cianciullo of Danbury was out of town when the 4th of July $1,000,000 Super Draw numbers were drawn. Upon her return, she was “completely amazed” when she discovered she was a $20,000 prize winner on the Lottery’s website.  Cianciullo purchased her winning ticket at J&R Lake Avenue Shell in Danbury.

Edward Haury of North Haven was another lucky $20,000 Super Draw winner who discovered his good luck on the Lottery's website.  Haury purchased his prize winning ticket at State Street Food Mart in North Haven and plans to put his prize winnings in the bank.

Other $20,000 second-prize winners include: Ronald Scarpelli, Stamford; Ruben Mendoza, New Britain, and  Chester Winnicki, Berlin.

Of the ten $20,000 Super Draw prizes, two more remain to be claimed.  A complete list of all 1,311 winning ticket numbers can be found by clicking here. Super Draw tickets can also be scanned in a lottery Ticket Checker at any lottery retailer location.

Draw tickets expire 180 days from their draw date.  Tickets for the 4th of July $1,000,000 Super Draw will expire on December 31, 2012.
