Your Store sold the winning Quick Pick that made Eugene and Marian Dudanowicz of New Britain the State’s newest Lottery’s millionaires. The New Britain brothers won $1,000,000 when their five numbers matched the numbers drawn on Tuesday, June 28, 2011.
The winning Mega Millions® numbers drawn were 12- 17 - 27 - 47 – 48 with the Mega Ball – 33. Although their five numbers matched, the brothers did not have the Mega Ball number. They did however add Megaplier®, a $1 feature that multiplies the value of prizes won so their $250,000 prize was automatically multiplied by 4, making their prize worth an incredible $1,000,000!
“We have many winners but this is our biggest” said Tahir when he visited the CT Lottery headquarters in Rocky Hill today to pick up his $2,500 selling bonus check.
