August 14, 2008 --
Power Play paid big for Westfield, Massachusetts resident Ronald Gintowt, who won $800,000 in last night’s Powerball

Winning numbers for the August 13 Powerball drawing were: 05-10-19-23-31, the Powerball number was 26, and the Power Play Multiplier was 4.
A total of 14,045 winning Powerball tickets were sold in Connecticut for last night’s drawing. Prizes for those tickets totaled $986,319, nearly a million dollars in all, for CT’s Powerball winners. In Connecticut, 3,729 tickets for last night’s drawing, including the one purchased by Gintowt, were purchased with the “Power Play” multiplier feature added for $1 more per ticket.
