CT Lottery Official Web Site - Keno - How To Play Keno

Sample Playslip

The sample playslip shown left, would create the sample $8 ticket shown above.

Choose your spots
Use a playslip and choose how many "spots" (numbers) you want to play per game.  Choose from 1 to 10 spots.

Choose your wager
Choose how much you want to wager on each game: $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20. Wager more, win more.

Choose how many consecutive games
Select how many games in a row you want to play.  Choose 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, or 20.  Games happen every 4 minutes.

Choose your numbers or select Quick Pick
Mark your numbers from 1 through 80 in pencil, blue or black ink or you can ask your retailer for a Quick Pick ticket.  The numbers you pick must be equal in number to the number of spots you selected to play.  Example: If you selected "4 spots" in section 1 of the playslip, select 4 numbers in section 4.  Or, mark Quick Pick and have the computer select numbers for you.  Remember, you must still tell the retailer how many numbers you want for each game, how much you want to spend per game, and how many games you want to play.

Buy the BONUS MULTIPLIER option for a chance to win bigger prizes.  Adding the BONUS MULTIPLIER doubles the total ticket cost. Multiply the prize won by the BONUS MULTIPLIER number selected for the game.  $1,000,000 is the maximum prize per game on any one KENO game ticket with the BONUS MULTIPLIER, regardless of the amount wagered.

Review your playslip
KENO tickets cannot be cancelled.  Review your playslip for accuracy before making a purchase.

Purchase your ticket
Present your completed playslip with payment to your Lottery Retailer.  The Retailer will give you your KENO ticket.  If you don't want to select your own numbers, you can also ask the retailer for a Quick Pick ticket. Use your GameSense.

Check your ticket
Your ticket will show you how many spots you chose to play, the amount of the wager, how many consecutive games and the numbers you chose 1 - 80.  It will also indicate the range of games for which your wager is available.

The drawing occurs
At the start of the drawing, a BONUS MULTIPLIER (1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10) is selected. Then, 20 spots (numbers) are selected.
